I've turned off submissions due to unserious additions. feel free to ping @Tetraspace or me/mods if you have a legitimate candidate who isn't listed.
@NivlacM Hey! I have read the options, indeed. My read on 2028 is that the Election is likely to be contested by several states and international observers. I don't know if that's different enough from Other to warrant a new category but it is epistemologically different for me.
@TheAllMemeingEye I mean it's different for me but I might be overthinking it - contested would imply a fracturing of the constitutional process with no clear consensus winner, and thus bring about potential civil conflict.
@realDonaldTrump I'm not going to add anyone constitutionally incapable of being president, so I won't add Bibi
@shankypanky do you believe the Constitution is what the supreme Court says it is or are other interpretations valid? I would argue Donald Trump is not a constitutionally valid candidate
@Lorxus The US moves toward a civil war, I think it will be too busy to successfully complete presidential elections at 2028. Republicans are too quick and uncompromising at their attempts to transform the country before 2028. They too agressively push people (because they have too little time to be more gentle and subtle) and at some point people will start pushing back
@Chachachi The US successfully completed a Presidential election in 1864, and the states completed legislative elections during the Revolution, so even given your premises I'm pretty sure we would still have a 2028 Presidential election.
