The Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2025 is scheduled to be the 87th edition of the annual chess tournament held in Wijk aan Zee. It will be held from 17 January to 2 February 2025. The Masters group pits fourteen of the world's best against each other in a round-robin tournament, and has sometimes been described as the "Wimbledon of Chess".
It will be a 13 round-robin tournament. If any number of players are tied for the first place at the end, they will play Rapid tiebreaks.

There's still a chance of a three-way tie for first, which would be settled by a mini round robin between the leaders.
@SentientTree they played that tournament 4 days after their championship match and they were both very tired. Gukesh had a month to rest with 0 tournaments and he will have a lot of unused prep.
@Weezing Vidit has widthdrawn and was replaced by Harakrishna
