There were two collisions in 2024 but the second did not have fatalities:

Haneda Airport Runway Collision (January 2, 2024): A Japan Airlines Airbus A350-900, operating as Flight 516, collided with a Japan Coast Guard De Havilland Canada Dash 8-Q300 while landing at Tokyo's Haneda Airport. All 379 occupants aboard the Japan Airlines flight survived, though 17 sustained injuries. Tragically, five of the six crew members on the Coast Guard aircraft perished. Both aircraft were destroyed in the ensuing fire.

  • Atlanta Airport Taxiway Collision (September 10, 2024): At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, a Delta Air Lines Airbus A350, designated as Flight 295 and bound for Tokyo, clipped the tail of an Endeavor Air CRJ-900, operating as Flight 5526 to Lafayette, Louisiana, while taxiing. The collision caused significant damage to the regional jet's tail section. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among passengers or crew members on either aircraft.

Unsure of resolution criteria. Is this only for crashes within the airport? So specifically the question is were there 2 crashes within airports between planes in 2024?

@Calvin Correct

This is strictly for collision between aircrafts right?

Will this market resolve to yes if the wing-tip of one plane touched the wing-tip of another at slow speed?
