Toronto's rental prices have been declining. Will that continue?
As of the December report from Rentals.ca, the Toronto total average rent was $2640. If the total average rent by August 1st 2025 is lower than this number, this question will resolve YES, otherwise NO.

3.00The January report is out. My email from Rentals.ca says "Current trends suggest rents may experience further decreases in 2025".
Both Paulicpulle [real estate agent] and Ladas [assoc. dir. of comms. for Rentals.ca] said they think the favourable market for renters is temporary in Toronto but will continue at least until the spring.
