When Pew Research surveys this question in 2025 or 2026, will the number decline?

Fractional percentages will be rounded to the nearest percentage.
If the percentage of US pet owners is 61% or lower, this question resolves YES; otherwise NO.

If Pew Research Center does not survey this question in 2025 or 2026, I will instead attempt to use data from the American Pet Products Association. According to their 2023-2024 survey, 66% of US households own a pet.

Again, fractional percentages will be rounded, and the new percentage must be less than 66% for the market to resolve YES.

If neither PRC nor APPA releases data surveyed in 2025 or 2026, then I will resolve this market N/A.
