Resolution Criteria

This market resolves to YES if Doctor Doom is shown to have significant facial scarring beneath his mask in his MCU appearance. The market resolves to NO if his face is shown to be not heavily scarred and disfigured or if the character's backstory is changed to eliminate the scarring element. If we never see his face, the market resolves NO.

In Marvel Comics, Victor Von Doom (Doctor Doom) traditionally has a scarred face from a laboratory accident, which is a key element of his origin story and motivation for wearing his iconic mask. The accident occurred during an experiment to contact his dead mother, which he blamed Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) for sabotaging.

Robert Downey Jr. has been cast as Doctor Doom in the MCU, with his debut expected in Avengers: Doomsday in 2026, though he may appear earlier, possibly in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Title would expect me to believe that this would resolve NO if he has moderate scarring, the description doesn't

@MingCat Title is correct, I will fix description, thank you. In the comics when people see his face they're usually like "My God!" Choke
