Blazing Swan or "Blaze" is a regional Burning Man event in Western Australia, held over Easter every year. The theme of Blaze 2025 is Cosmic Coincidence. This theme was chosen a partly because T Coronae Borealis is sometimes known as "The Blaze Star" and it's possible that it might go nova during the event.

Some astronomers believe that orbiting the Blaze Star is a planet inhabited by space crabs. Fearing the imminent explosion of their sun, the top space crab astronomers searched the skies for the best party in the universe to escape to. Billions of space crab refugees are currently travelling at the speed of light to attend Blazing Swan 2025.

This market resolves YES if T Coronae Borealis goes nova in 2025 and the duration of the nova period overlaps the dates 16 April to 22 April.

It still counts if Blazing Swan is cancelled or rescheduled.

It's currently at around brightness 10, at brightest it will be about two. Be cool to have a figure for at what brightness you will think it is still going on. 4? That would be still bright enough that it wouldn't have returned to it's normal range. Though even 6 I think seems to be something they report only without better comparison while at it's normal brightness. Caveat I know very little about astronomy at all. Just my very stupid and uninformed hallucinations
