US oil production is currently the highest it has ever been. Will it continue to increase? Domestic production of crude oil reached 12,975K/day for the four weeks ending Oct. 6, 2023. This question resolves to YES if the four week average is greater than or equal to 14,000K barrels/day according to any EIA Weekly Petroleum Status Report reflecting weeks before January 2025.

shows data to week ending 27 Dec 2024.
No weeks reached 14M let alone 4 week average.

Is the next week to 3 Jan 2025 partly in 2025 excluded due to
"according to any EIA Weekly Petroleum Status Report reflecting weeks before January 2025" ?

Even if it isn't excluded
After 13604k 13585k 13573k would need 15238k to average 14000k over 4 weeks. Not had a 14000k let alone a 15238k. Biggest increase I can see is +292k so +1665k would also be very weird.

@Nhoj possibly already resolvable?

@ChristopherRandles Right — resolving NO.

I don’t think we’d count the week ending January 3, since that includes 2025 data.
