There are many factors why I believe Juan Reynoso will no longer be the coach of the national soccer team of Peru for the worldcup 2026:

Performance in Qualifiers: In statistics, so far Peru show insufficient performance during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, particularly in matches against Brazil and Paraguay , this could call into question their continuity.

Defensive and Offensive Statistics: Currently Peru shows clear weaknesses in areas such as goals for, goals against, ball possession, and other performance indicators, they suggest the need for a tactical and, therefore, coaching change.

Coaching Turnover: Statistically, coaching turnover in national teams is high, with many teams changing coaches in cycles of four years or less. This is due to the high pressure for immediate results and the constant search for improvements.

Innovation and Development: The lack of tactical innovation or development of young players is  a negative aspect that would influence the decision to keep him in the position.

Support and Internal Climate: Although it is not purely statistical, but the support that Reynoso has within the federation is very weak, and the fans are not happy with his tactics.

For all these reasons, I believe he will be changed before the World Cup in 2026.
