WASHINGTON, DC – Attorney General Brian L. Schwalb today announced a lawsuit against RealPage, Inc. (RealPage) and 14 of the largest residential landlords in the District for colluding to illegally raise rents for tens of thousands of DC residents by collectively delegating price-setting authority to RealPage, which used a centralized pricing algorithm to inflate prices, costing renters millions of dollars.

This market will be extended until the case is dismissed, settled, or a verdict is made and any appeals are complete. I will resolve YES for a guilty verdict or a settlement that involves a credible promise to stop the alleged anticompetitive behavior.

@MCMillennium This may have been a mistake on my part, but this question is specifically about the DC Attorney General's case, which was filed in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia Civil Division. I wasn't aware of the federal case. Hopefully they resolve in the same direction
