Keeping all data in memory instead of a db and if the server crashes you can rebuild all the state from a log as fast as a sequential ssd read of the log (plus maybe a snapshot if the log gets too long) Each tx could be represented under 64 bytes so a 7300MB/s ssd could read 114 million tx/s
