Resolution Criteria

This market resolves to YES if London Breed officially announces her candidacy or files paperwork to run for any public office (local, state, or federal) after January 1, 2025 and before January 1, 2031. Otherwise, it resolves to NO.

Background

London Breed served as the Mayor of San Francisco from 2018 until 2024, when she lost her re-election bid to Daniel Lurie in November 2024. Prior to becoming mayor, Breed served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

Following her electoral defeat, Breed has not publicly announced any future political plans. While there had been speculation about potential national political aspirations in the past, these were previously denied by her spokesperson.
