@AdamBraff they are explicitly complaining that they don't have the means to more formally oppose. The mechanism just doesn't exist. And thus it would appear this isn't a question at all.
@JussiVilleHeiskanen I have submitted the matter to the panel of judges (in the underlying contest for which this prop is a mirror). Note that Slovenia's broadcaster has formally opposed Israel's participation, and did so before the contest started, so the mechanism exists for a national broadcaster to do this. I'll report back with the ruling from the judges as to whether the broadcasters from Spain, Iceland, Malta, etc., have formally opposed Israel's participation or have done something short of that.
The judges replied that the discussion request from Spain, the message from the Icelandic foreign minister, and the exclusion demand from the Maltese MEP do not meet the conditions of this proposition, whereas the Slovenian broadcaster's actions do. Because we are at 1 out of 3 broadcasters, there is no resolution at this time, and it could still go either way.
